Thomas Kasch Obituary
June 16, 1939 - May 30, 2025
Thomas H. Kasch, age 85, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife of 63 years, Ruth, and their family.
He was born on June 16, 1939, in Toledo, to Herbert and Mildred Kasch. Tom attended Trinity Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Macomber High School in 1957. He went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Navy.
A lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians, Tom also had a deep passion for drag racing and enjoyed photographing race cars and capturing family moments.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth; children, Michael (Janell), Sheryl Johnson (John), and Tony (Anasue); 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Brushaber (Roger); and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, on June 5, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Trinity Lutheran Church in Tom's memory.
