Thomas Philips Obituary

PHILIPS Thomas E. "T.C." Thomas E. "T.C." Philips, age 57, of Toledo, crossed over to eternity on February 2, 2007, at home. He was born February 12, 1949, in Toledo to Mr. and Mrs. Willie D. (Ruth Jennings) Phillips. He was employed as a cook at The Toledo Mental Health Center and enjoyed lawn care and model cars and spending time with his family. He is survived by his brother, Edward (Belinda) Phillips; niece, Tracy Ann Phillips; aunt, Gertrude Bates all of Toledo and a host of other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Willie D. Phillips Jr.; sister, Dorthea Phillips and nephews, Mohammed Ali Sampson and Darryl. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of Services at 7 p.m. at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (1163 W. Sylvania at Lockwood, 419-269-1111). Tracy, Jason, and Family,

Tracy: You don't really know me. However, I am a cousin who was raised in Toledo. We all were very close growing up. It is sad to hear of Tommy C's passing, and he will be missed. I thank God for sharing him with us for 57 years. My prayers are with you.
