Thomas Schweer Obituary
January 23, 1950 - September 10, 2023
Thomas "Tom" C. Schweer, 73, of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away, Sunday, September 10, 2023. Tom was born on January 23, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of Lester W. and Helen M. (Nachtrab) Schweer. Tom graduated from Catholic Central High School in Toledo. He married Linda L. Zeadker on April 28, 1990. Along with his wife, they owned and operated a successful business, Sewing Express, for 40 years. They started their 1st store in Oregon, Ohio, then adding a 2nd store in Sylvania, Ohio. Tom enjoyed trying new gadgets, watching QVC, most recently a love for HGTV, video games, music, bowling, and his expansive family game room.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Linda; children, Brian (Tricia) Schweer, Robert (Erika) Schlender, Charlie Schlender, Laura McIlroy, and Randy (Joleen) Schweer; grandchildren, Riley, Briahna, Ahron, Harleigh, Kennedy, Charlie, Katy and Cody. He was preceded in death by his son, Tom Schlender; and brother, William Schweer.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman), Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 15, 2023. Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
