Timothy H. Bachar

Timothy H. Bachar, 80, of Sylvania Township, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at Lakes of Monclova, Maumee, OH.

He was born April 1, 1938 in Toledo, OH, to Harold and Mary (Wharff) Bachar.

Tim was a graduate of The University of Toledo, served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1962 to 1968, worked for Dana Corporation over 23 years in clerical management and was president of the engineer society. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Sylvania, OH where he was a Eucharistic Minister and was involved as a volunteer. Tim enjoyed working at the Jamie Farr LPGA every July and being a member in the Dana retiree golf league.

Left to cherish Timothy's memory is sister Susan (Bruce) Spang and nephew Christopher Frick. He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife Charlene.

Tim will have a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5373 S. Main St., Sylvania, OH, Wednesday September 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Those wishing to give a memorial are asked to consider the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or donor's choice.
