Wanda Marsenburg Obituary

MARSENBURG Wanda "Marci" Wanda "Marci" Marsenburg, 58, passed away July 21, 2009, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, she graduated from Scott High School in 1968. She was employed by St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center as a psychiatric technician and a medical records specialist for 35 years, retiring due to disability. She attended the University of Toledo. She was a 27 year member of Eastern Star Baptist Church serving the church faithfully in many ways. She was a member of the choir, The Ensemble, the Christian Board of Education, and served as president and vice president of the Missionary Department and superintendent of the Junior Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She leaves to cherish her memory parents Harriett and (Mr.) Shirley V. Marsenburg; daughter, Janell Marsenburg; brothers, David C. Waller, Rev. Myron and Jerry Marsenburg, Casey Moore; sisters, Jonnie Hudson and Suzette Moore; special friends, Lucy Oliver, Sandra Mitchell, Joyce Quinn (Howard) and her dear sister-in- law, Patricia Marsenburg, and a host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, other relatives; her Eastern Star church family and many friends. Visitation will be Friday 3 - 6 p.m., Dale-Riggs Funeral Home Chapel, wake services Saturday 12:00 noon followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. John W. Williams officiant. Interment Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. www.dalefh.com
