Mrs. Kott, I just found out, January 23, from Gary Parker, about your loss. Wayne was such a good friend. He loved you dearly. I wish I could have seen him more. After I moved, I missed talking to him, running with him, and dropping by your house to see you. I am devastated. I know there is nothing I can say or do, but if I can help in any way, please tell Gary Parker. (Deb)

Words cannot express the sadness I feel, I first met Wayne when I started working at a Hallmark store in Tecumseh, MI. He was an avid Ornament collector and I would be the one to call him and remind him to come in and pick up his ornaments. He always called me ( the Ornament Police). He was such a joy to be around and would brighten my day just by seeing him. We had the best times together on our dates and dinners out. He took such good care of his mother and I would always tell him he was such a good son. My heart goes out to his family and I pray for you all. I'm sure you are with your father now. I know you missed him deeply. I loved you, and a piece of heart is missing! Rest in peace my wonderful friend!

Wayne will be deeply missed! He was a good friend and colleague. We had many good times at road races and during occasional runs.
Wayne had a great deal of enthusiasm. I will never forget when Wayne talked me into running three 5ks three days in a row. I thought it was a crazy idea and after we finished the third race I vowed I would never do that again. The following year, Wayne tried to convince me that doing so again would not be as bad as the previous year. I agreed to run two. After the second 5k, Wayne's enthusiasm and encouragement almost convinced me to run a third... Keith Stowell

I'm so sad to learn of Wayne's death & my condolences go out to his mother & family. Wayne & I met & dated while were in night school at Com Tech in the early 80's. We reconnected in 2004 & spent time together & talked on the phone from time to time. I also had the opportuntiy to attend one of the dinners at his church.
I will remember Wayne as a man who gave of himself to his family, neighbors & his church. He loved his dogs, hockey, running marathons & collecting 50's cars & records. I recall hearing him as a guest on a radio program in recent years. Wayne, also never forgot a holiday. I enjoyed receiving his cards thoughout the years. I'll miss you, my friend.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I am a member of Resurrection & I am feeling a loss I wasn't sure was possible. God must have really needed him and he was ready at a moment's notice. That is where I am finding peace. Our faith and love of Jesus were a glue that made us all better! Wayne, I will sooo miss your awesome hugs and that smile, you know the one. Be well my friend. Go forth and do good works.

Gary, my deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your brother. I had the pleasure of meeting Wayne during our Champion Spark Plug days. I can honestly say I do not recall a single time seeing Wayne in anything but an upbeat mood. Wayne was a usual in the many golf outings several of us enjoyed playing in during those Champion days. I knew if Wayne and I were teamed together we would laugh and enjoy the day. And it always happened that way. Wayne will always be someone I was fortunate and glad to meet in my life.

My condolences to the Kott Family.
I went to Macomber and played ball with Wayne and always thought he was a stand up guy. It's aparent after reading the messages on this board he was much, much, more than that. How proud your family must be of you Wayne.
This was a man filed with the Holy Spirit and to that I pray; Father, our hearts are broken and it seems very dark. We don't always understand your will and we are filled with more questions than answers. Help us choose TRUST instead of doubt, and Faith instead of fear. Lord please fill each broken place in our hearts with your mercy and your grace. We ask this in the name of your son Jesus Christ.
Rest in Peace my Friend,

My Dear Wayne.... You know I'm still speachless, and you deserve so much more. I can't put into words how much I already miss you. Everywhere I look, there's a reminder of you. But, thank you for that, the pain is so bitter-sweet. I can hardly breath, sometimes. And you know that. I know you'll always be right here, though. As painful as the past few days have been, I've found peace and comfort in truly believing that. And I know you were ready to go to heaven at a moment's notice. I just wish I had just five more minutes. I can't imagine the pain your family feels, your mother Dorothy always said you were her best friend as much as a son. My heart aches for her, especially. You were the sunshine on a rainy day to everyone you met, with your smile, or even just your voice. You were generous, caring, tireless, funny, (your rooster crow over the phone), adorable, spiritual, and more vulnerable than you would let on. There aren't ENOUGH words. But the pain of losing you is small compaired to the joy of having loved you. I'll always be grateful for that. Thank you.

I first met my cousin Wayne at my grandfather Ray Kott's funeral, and later got to know him after attending a mass at Resurrection. He struck me immediately as a very kind, warm and caring person. His charisma, his strong faith, and even his physical appearance reminded me very much of his father, my grandfather, and my uncle Roman. My prayers and deepest sympathy go out to the Kott family during this very difficult time.

To the family and friends I will say a prayer for your loss. I've known Wayne since High School. We played on the same football team together for Macomber. We shared some of the same interest such as record collecting and going to autions. Can't say I was always glad to see him, especially at auctions. It seemed we always wanted the same items and if he was there I knew I was going to have to pay for it. He had a great knowledge for his records. I was privledged to keep in contact with him over the years and miss him.

It was great fun. He loved music, he cared about people, and he also loved the church that he attended. Im very glad I had the chance to know him even tho it was one short year.
