She was born on October 22, 1928, in Soldier, PA, daughter of Enoch and Cora (Fye) Yohe. A graduate of Sykesville High School. In 1947, she married Paul (Ted) Reynolds who preceded her in death in 1987.

She worked 29+ years as a nurses-aide at Maple Avenue and DuBois Hospitals. She faithfully attended Punxsy Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church.

Helen loved being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and ability to put other's needs before her own.

She is survived by four children: son, Bob (Jo Ann) Reynolds, Alliance, OH; three daughters, Judy (Jim) Kramer, Sykesville; Shirley (Rev. Michael) Ryan, Jamestown, TN; and Elaine (Sonny) Smith, Mercer, PA; five grandchildren: Amy Hall, Jodi (John) Coots, Jeffrey (Tara) Kramer, Wesley (Laura) Smith, Chad (Kadie) Smith; and nine great-grandchildren: McKenna, Lily, Spencer, Max, Caleb, Austin, Alana, Sierra, and Brooklyn.

She is survived by two brothers, Raymond and Russell Yohe, both of Reynoldsville; and a sister Irma (Don) Swab of Erie.

She was preceded in death by brothers: Robert and infant Irvin; three sisters: Ruth Yohe, Betty Henneman and Doris Zellers; and daughter-in-law Patti Reynolds.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. from the funeral home with Reverend Paul Houseworth officiating.

To Helen´s Family:
I´m sure Aunt Helen was the sweetest lady I´ve ever met. We know she is with Jesus now whom she loved deeply & all those that went before her. Doris loved Helen so very much. I enjoyed my time I spent taking them Thrifting in Allentown & day trips to Lancaster. She will surely be missed by so many. Thank you for everything Helen you were an earthly angel for sure.

I worked with Helen at the hospitals many years ago. She was kind to everyone and had a smile for them. What a wonderful person.
