Rose "Sis" Grieggs

Rose "Sis" Grieggs, 85, of 504 High Avenue, St. Marys, died on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Highland View Health Care.
She was born on March 10, 1933, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Francis Grieggs. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate Central High School.
She is survived by two sisters, Ruth Burkett and her husband David of Punxsutawney, and Joan Berkson and her husband David of Chicago; by three brothers, William Grieggs and his wife Joan Marie of La Place, La., David Grieggs and his wife Peggy of St. Marys, and Joseph Grieggs and his wife Rose of Harrisburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece with whom she made her home, Jamie Grieggs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Thomas, Robert, and Paul Grieggs, and by a sister, Mary Dixon.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rose Grieggs will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at 12 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Rev. Michael Gabler, OSB as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 5-8 p.m.
