Yesterday
I am blessed to have had Michael in my life. We became friends at the age of 18 in Kittanning, PA as students at the off campus of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. There were many times thereafter that we enjoyed each other's company from IUP in Indiana, Pa to Nancy, France to my hometown of Warren, PA to getting to know my children (who really enjoyed him) in Northern Kentucky. Yes, he lived quite a challenging life at times. I am inspired by how he overcame some of those challenges with the support of his family, friends, and deep faith. We were last together two years ago at his home in Penn Township with our small group of IUP friends Connie, Mindy, Michael, and myself. It was so comforting to see him happy. I send my sympathy to his sisters and brothers. He spoke of you with admiration. With Love, Debbie Kittner Johnson, Cincinnati, OH.

Mike will be missed. One of my favorite, funny memories is when Mike left me at Cedar Point with no ride home! I got picked up by a couple girls who I rode home with them, to their home in Pontiac Michigan! What a first. Then when it was time to go home, with only $11 left in my pocket, I had to take a cab to meet up with the one girl´s girlfriend. She worked at the airport, and my ride to the airport. She drove a Corvette! My first ride in one. Then the plane home, which I had to reach out to my cousin to purchase the ticket for me, lol! Which believe it, it was my first plane ride! That story of him leaving me behind always came up, and was always a great laugh!!
We'll miss you Mike, God Bless.
Your friend,
Kevin
