Nora Myrtle Bickerstaff, 92, of Latrobe, formerly of Jeannette, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. Nora was born on Feb. 2, 1933, in Indiana, the daughter of the late Clair R. and Cordelia (Bowman) Helman. Nora retired from the former Standard-Observer Newspaper, working in the accounting department. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Bickerstaff, and her siblings, Ruth Cunnard, Kathryn Dopkowski, Jean Shirley, and Donald Helman. Nora is survived by her children, Randy Bickerstaff (Lorrie), Russell Bickerstaff (Carol), Ralph Bickerstaff (Coleen), and Rhonda Schultz (Edward); her nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Norman Helman. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2025, at OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, 724-863-8900. Additional viewing will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday morning, July 1, 2025, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Joseph O'Brien officiating.
