Jonnette Christner Obituary

Jonnette L. Christner, 73, of Manor, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021. She was born April 12, 1948, in McKeesport, to the late John Genes and Jeannette L. James Garcia. Jonnette was a poet and sold many of her works under her business name, "From The Heart". She worked as a stewardess for 22 years at the Westmoreland City Fire Hall and was a long-time member of the Fox Den Acres campground in New Stanton. Jonnette is survived by her three sons, Joe (wife Sharen) Walling, Daniel Walling and Russel (wife Jessica) Christner; five grandchildren, Vinny, Stacey, Jo, Jake and Kayla; a great-granddaughter, Hallie; and two sisters, Daneen (husband Buck) Gazdich and Janice (late husband Bernie) Rusinko. Private arrangements are entrusted to LINDSAY-JOBE FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721.
