Kenneth Minkus Obituary

Kenneth L. Minkus, 87, of Sutersville, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2021. He was born July 31, 1934, in West Newton, son of the late Leo and Frances (Drost) Minkus. Ken was a longstanding member of the Church of Sutersville and was a member of Penn Rod and Gun Club, American Legion and Teamsters Local 30. Prior to retirement, he was employed by UPS and had been a business manager for Teamsters Local 30. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Army. Surviving are his daughter, Kenna Abramski and husband, Charles; granddaughter, Kaia Abramski; sister-in-law, Arlene Lash and husband, Terry; Arlene's daughter, Toni Novak, and her children, Amanda McDonald, Stephanie Novak and Frankie Novak; and other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene (Drager) Minkus; daughter, Laurie Minkus; and sister, Lorraine (Albert) Caldwell. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at The Church, 1683 Mars Hill Road, Sutersville, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
