In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements were entrusted to PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave. at James Street, Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent in Lisa's memory to the Animal Rescue League (now Humane Animal Rescue), Attn: Donations Department, 6926 Hamilton Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15208, 412-345-0345. www.laniganfuneralhome.com.

Lisa was my cousin, our mothers were sisters. Being only 6 months apart in age we grew up together. She was probably my first friend as cousins often are. As we got older we grew apart due to changing lives and geography but the love was always there. We reconnected several years ago for a short visit and it was like old times. RIP Lisa. My heart, and my husband's, go out to all her family and friends.
