Nancy Ward-Nauss Obituary

Nancy Ward-Nauss, 65, currently of Irwin, formerly of Longmont, CO, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. After attending Penn State University, she ultimately gravitated toward alternative and holistic healthcare, in which she was successful in helping many people over the years. Nancy greatly enjoyed hiking and nature, which influenced her desire to create and landscape her own backyard into a stunning forest wonderland and garden. It was her personal labor of love, and it gave her the highest enjoyment in her life. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Nauss; her mother, Elaine P. Ward of Irwin; and her sister, Pamela Ward-Klinges (Christopher) of Furlong. She was preceded in death by her older sister, Rebecca Ward-Capano (Anthony); her father, Douglas Ward; her maternal grandparents, Clyde F. Peairs, M.D. and Ardafay K. Peairs of Sutersville; and by her paternal grandparents, Harry N. Ward, M.D., and Ruth M. Ward of Hamilton, OH. As per her wishes there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements entrusted to the J. WILLIAM MCCAULEY, JR., FUNERAL HOME, INC., West Newton. Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
