Theresa Shepeck Obituary

Theresa Louise Dombrowski Shepeck, 88, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born Feb 2, 1936, a daughter to the late Anthony, "Andy" Dombrowski and Blanche Kempiesty Dombrowski. Theresa was a graduate of Ramsay High School with the class of 1953. She worked for the Modulus Screw and Bolt Company, Westinghouse Semiconductor, The Laurel Group Company, as a caterer for Gerry Miller, and as a caregiver to many elderly neighbors. Theresa was a former member of Transfiguration Church, and its Rosary Alter Society. She was currently a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church. Theresa was a loving mother, hard worker, fantastic cook, and avid sports fan. She loved rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates. Theresa also loved her polkas and trips to the casino. Theresa is survived by her sons, Daniel R. Shepeck (Char) and David A. Shepeck, of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by her brother, Andrew "Andy" Dombrowski of Jacksonville, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert "Bob" Shepeck on Oct. 17, the same day as her death, in the year 2000; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sophie Zubik Shebeck of Mt. Pleasant; and sister-in-law, Lucille Rega Dombrowski of Jacksonville, FL. The family would like to thank the staff of Scottdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for their care of Theresa the past 6 months and also to the many friends that came to visit. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC. 406 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant, PA. As per Theresa's wishes, viewing will be private, the public is invited to a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, with the Rev Paul Lisik as celebrant.
