William Schubert Obituary

William C. "Bill" Schubert, Denver, CO, and East McKeesport, PA. Bill was born on May 27, 1951, in East McKeesport, PA, and passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at home in the arms of his wife, Susan. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William T. Schubert and Mary Jo Andrews Schubert; and brothers, Robert J. and John M. Schubert. Bill is survived by his wife and soulmate, Susan Jane Paulin Schubert (Denver, CO, and Greensburg, PA); daughters, Stephanie "Niki" Schubert (Jonathan Aubele) of Centennial, CO, and Jacqueline "Jacki" Pedder (Justin Pedder) of North Huntingdon, PA; and grandchildren, Taylor Fallon, Trainor Fallon, Tristan Pedder, Tennyson Laine Pedder, Arleigh Aubele, and Bellamy Aubele. Bill is also survived by his siblings, Nancy Lochinski, E. McKeesport, PA, James Schubert, Belle Vernon, PA, Charles Schubert, Centerline, MI, Sandy J. Ellenberger, North Huntingdon, PA, and Daniel J. Schubert, North Versailles, PA. Additionally, Bill is survived by in-laws, Trish (Donald Fiore), Ed (Kathy) Paulin, Dianne Swinger, and Mary Ann DiPadova; close friends who are family, Frank Palmer, Bill and Elaine Rolison, Scott and Pam Griess, Steve and Sara Utenick Jr., and Tammy Harden, and Jack Fallon; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Bill's love for his fur babies was enormous, and he was preceded in death by Sailor Sue, Sidnee Ann, and Tailor Jane. This list could go on forever. Those he loved never doubted his love. Bill retired from Massa Auto, having worked as a sales manager at dealerships in Pennsylvania and Colorado. Bill will be remembered for his love of life, quick humor, all things Pittsburgh, and travel. Bill always said, YES to the trip. There was not a beach, ship, or country that Bill did not enjoy. The sweetest memories were made with family and friends over the years. Bill opened his home to everyone and treated visitors like old friends. Bill is on his final blessed trip, just waiting for those of us he cherished while celebrating with those he missed. You may be gone from my sight, but you are never gone from my heart, I will love you always, Susan. Memorial gifts may be made in Bill's memory to Potcake Place K9 Rescue (https://www.potcakeplace.com/), Turks and Caicos; Action for Animals Humane Society, (https://www.petfinder.com/member/us/pa/latrobe/action-for-animals-inc-humane-society-pa60/), Latrobe, PA; or Humane Colorado (https://humanecolorado.org/), Denver, CO. A gathering of remembrance will take place on June 21, 2025, in Denver, CO.

I remember Bill´s basketball playing days at Westinghouse Memorial - Wildcats. Bill always had a smile on his face and was a jokester. I wish his family my deepest sympathies - may Bill rest in peace.

Our hearts are broken over the loss of Bill, but the wonderfull memories we've made along the way will let him live on in our hearts forever. He traveled the world with our sister by his side, so when we look at the world we will see him. May those wonderful memories help carry Susan, Niki, Jacki and all who knew him through. Till we meet again, have fun in heaven with all who have gone before you.
