Janet Palmieri Obituary

Janet Marie Palmieri, 59, of Plum, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at her home with her son and husband by her side. She was born Feb. 3, 1951, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Margaret Bishop and the late James Moore Sr. She was the office manager for the practice of Arthritis and Internal Medicine in Oakland for many years. Janet is survived by her husband, Paul Palmieri, of Plum; son, Justin Palmieri, of Plum; mother, Margaret Bishop Moore, of Hazelwood; two sisters, Debbie (Ken) Esposito, of Wexford, and Susan (Keith) Varadi, of Moon Township; brother, James Moore Jr., of Hazelwood; and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Palmieri, of Penn Hills. She was preceded in death by her father, James Moore Sr.; and son, Jason Palmieri. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the JOSEPH J. CARDARO FUNERAL HOME, a service orientated funeral home, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, PA 15068, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Interment in Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum.
