Mary K. Fry

1935 - 2024

Mary Kemerer Fry, formerly of Export, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 in Port St. Lucie, FL. She was born Jan. 8, 1935 to the late William and Mary (Wetzel) Shero. Mary is survived by her children, Kathie McKinney, Butch (Donna) Kemerer, Rick (Sandra) Kemerer and Robb Kemerer; step-children, Art Fry, Becky (Ronnie) Painter, Lorie (Gary) Smith and Candy (Bill) Weiner; grandchildren, Daniel (Katie) Katkowski, Darren (Amber) Katkowski, Dustin Katkowski, Nick (Shawna) Kemerer, Krista (Ryan) Platt, Cassie (Jay) Evans and Zack (Lacey) Kemerer; five step-grandchildren and their spouses; 14 great-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren; in-laws, Joanna Shero, Barbara Shero and Richard Piper; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Albertiss 'Jake' Kemerer; second husband, Seibert 'Bub' Fry, and special friend, Robert Cloud; brothers, James, David, and William Shero; sister, Eileen Piper; and sister-in-law, Dolly Shero. Mary was a proud member of St. Mary's Church in Export. She was a manager at CoGo's in Apollo for many years, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and ceramics. Family and friends will be received Friday, April 12, 2024 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at WOLFE von GEIS FUNERAL HOME, 5701 Lincoln Avenue, Export, PA 15632. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 5900 Kennedy Avenue, Export, PA 15632, on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
