"Aunt" Dottie Lewis
August 19, 2024
The Stambaugh family have always been very special to Darrell and me. They were more like family. We met through church and had many good times serving in music, committee's, teaching and learning. Square Dancing put the couples together almost every weekend. PR and Marla spent lots of time at our house and we shared special holiday times together. To PR, we were "Aunt Dottie" and "Uncle Darrell". Our families were game oriented and the house would get loud when the Stambaugh's came to visit. PR was a perfect child, very loving and caring. As a husband and father, he was extremely proud of Hope and their children. We have the assurance of knowing he is in Heaven and it will be a glorious homecoming when family and friends reunite with him. Condolences and Love to Hope and the Stambaugh families. Keep reflecting on your happy memories you have of PR.
