Mark and Sheila,
I never had the pleasure of meeting Ben but I felt that I knew him through Mark and me talking about our kids the past 20+ years and what they were doing while they were growing up. I am very sorry for your loss and can't even imagine what you and your family are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sheila and Mark,
I worked and lived with Ben in Wise River, MT for 5 seasons with the forest service. We made some great memories during that time. We went on many fires togather during this time and we learned a lot from each other. I probably learned more from him than anything. I'm very sorry for your loss. Your family and Ben have been on my mind a lot in the past few days. Ben will be greatly missed by all that came in contact with him.

To Mark and Sheila,
I was so sorry to hear the tragic news about Ben. My heart goes out to the family, at this difficult time.
May all you wonderful memories together bring you some comfort. And most of all may the Creator of All Living Things, guard your hearts and your thoughts to help you cope with this tragedy. Rely on His strength to continue on. Hope! That's all that is left. Hope, helps you to look beyond the grief and endure the pain. Hope, is what God offers for the future.
"And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and Death will be no More neither will suffering nor sickness nor pain be anymore. The former things will have passed away." Revelation 21:4

Sweet Nephew, Ben. You will always be missed and loved by me, Uncle William, cousin Stella and Louigi. Your love for everything wild and the great outdoors was instilled in Louis and I will forever be grateful to you. Searching for snakes in the garden and stories of adventures in the great outdoors will always be topics of conversation. I promise to take good care of your parents and sister Molly.
Love, Aunt Carole

My thoughts and prayers have been constant since I learned of the accident. I wish I were there to just hug you, Sheila. I don't really know much about heaven but Grandma and Grandpa have to be there and they will recognize Ben as your son. I love you. Martha
