Not sure why Jill but I was thinking of you today. I sure do miss you and selfishly wish you could still be here. With tears streaming down I just want you to know that I love you. Here´s to hoping your extended journey is full of light and promise

I have just learned from a mutual classmate from Wilson and Gamma Phi Beta that Jill had passed away. I am very sad to hear this as I remember Jill being so vibrant and full of life. She had a great laugh and was fun to be around. We lost touch after college so I did not know she was ill. My deepest condolences to Jill's family and friends, she will be very missed.

Britt, Marci -- other family and loved ones. Your mother was a gift! Many treasured memories -- whether at church, EP or at your house. The center of her world was her kids! I pray you are comforted knowing that she is in Heaven and the many friends to help walk this road with you! I'm sorry I missed her memorial -- heard of her death the following day. Bless you!

Jill, the last time we saw you was in 1977 when we left for Panama. I wish we had stayed in touch. I really enjoyed. The time with my beautiful fun cousin. At least we were in touch with eAch other for the last month of your life and now I am back in touch with Wayne and Scott and the rest of the Appleby family. Love you my cousin.

Jill was such an example and role model for me, someone I always admired, the big sister I never had. She always took care of my brothers for me too! Her enthusiasm for life, no matter what she was doing was infectious. Jill, you will be greatly missed.

Jill,
I have such great memories of hanging out together from Wilson High School. One of the best though was when about 5 of us decided last minute to walk the March of Dimes Marathon!! I don't know how we made it, but somehow we all survived. It was when they first started those kinds of fund raisers and none of us came prepared at all. We were soooo sore the next day and so tired. I loved the shirt you wore to one of your dr. appointments (you had posted it in facebook)...it said Cancer sucks! I saw it when my sister was dying from brain cancer. Boy, that shirt says it all!! I know I haven't seen you in a long time, but I will never forget your smile and happy spirit! Rest in peace my friend.

Jill handled her devastating diagnosis with grace and courage. I was amazed by what an upbeat, caring, loving person she was. We met up at the Boston Marathon in 2009, and she was so enthusiastic about taking on the challenge. Jill was a wonderful role model to her kids.

I met Jill in Bible Study about 8 years ago. Never have I known a woman with such a strong faith which has been witnessed thru her many struggles, personal and health. Her smile could light up an entire room! She saw me thru some of my own personal struggles and helped me grow in my faith. I am so blessed to be able to call Jill my friend. My prayers are with Mike, the girls and all of Jill's wonderful friends who will miss her terribly.

I attended all three public schools with Jill. Although I had not seen her in years, I remember her as having had lots of energy and who was a very nice lady. My prayers go out to Jill, her family, and her friends.

I went to Wilson with Jill. I had several classes with her over those years. I always loved her zest for life. She was fun to watch as a cheerleader and all I have are great memories of her. She was always nice to everyone. Times were different back in the Wilson days. We had a good class and she was a huge part of that. I am so glad that Jill and Mike connected in those last years. How cool is that...The cheerleader and the quarterback. Together in the end. God Bless Mike and her Family. Rest in peace Jill.

Jill and I were acquainted during our high school years in Tacoma, and knew each other best as Gamma Phi sorority sisters at the UW. We lost contact over the years, but I will always remember her bright smile and enthusiasm for life. My heart goes out to her family. God's peace to all.

It is always hard to find words at a time like this. I have fun memories of times with Jill and I will cherish them. Her smile has not changed and I know that she lived a full and happy life. Her spirit will live on in her children and those who loved her. As the song says, "Old days, good times I remember..."

The littlest girl with the biggest smile and larger than life personality. She made the reunions fun and was the best class of '75 cheerleader. **
