MAMIE SMITH

Mamie Lee Smith 11/6/26 to 2/20/17 Mamie Lee Smith, 90, of Tacoma, passed away peacefully February 20, 2017. She was born November 6, 1926 in Birmingham, AL. Her loving husband Charlie R. Smith of 45 years preceded her in death. Also preceding her were parents Azalee and Columbus Wheeler, 4 sisters, Olivia, Margaret, Edna Mae, Josephine, and only brother Columbus, Jr. She is survived by 1 sister, 3 daughters, 1 son, 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. Mamie had Masonic affiliation and belonged to several organizations: Willie K Jennys Court #6, Daughter of Isis, Olympic Chapter #2, Cascadia Assembly #46, and OES Grand Chapter. She is loved and will be missed by all. Viewing will be March 1, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Park Valley Chapel.
