Sumner, Washington - Marty was born on January 31,1963 to Eugene Johnson and Susan Nyhus in Wurzburg, Germany. Marty grew up in Fircrest, WA. He graduated from Foss High School in 1981.
In 2005, Marty became a father to Thomas Marty, being extremely proud of his son Thomas, always knowing that he had an amazing journey of life ahead of him. In 2006, Marty met his wife and partner for life Karen Bachmann, sharing 15 yrs of committed love. Marty loved being devoted to his family; Marty found his relationships a ray of sunshine spending time with his Mother Susan, his beautiful sister Lisa, and brother Todd. Marty was very spiritual, knowing that life was only temporary on this earth, which gave him gave him such peace to know that his soul was eternal. Jesus, I trust in you. Marty is survived by Thomas Marty Johnson, Son, Karen Bachmann, wife life partner, Mother Susan Nyhus, Sister Lisa (Russel) Croft, Brother Todd (Sarah) Johnson. He was preceded in death by his Father Eugene Johnson, Stepfather Alvin O. Nyhus, and his loving Grandparents.
Services will be held at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Sumner, WA on 9/9/2022 at 11:00 AM. Sumner Voiles/full obituary

I met Marty at Degoede's. I ride motorcycles so he stopped by to show me his Fjr 1300. He was a very cautious rider. To hear of his passing was a shock. I hope the best for his family and he will be missed. Marty was one of those guys who could see all the good he had in him. Rest In peace Marty
