RYAN CHRISTENSEN Obituary

Ryan Paul Christensen 1987 - 2017 Ryan Paul Christensen passed away on January 31st, 2017 at the age of 29 from complications of the flu and diabetes. He was born on May 21st, 1987 in Tacoma, WA. Ryan graduated from Gig Harbor High School and Western Washington University. He was an exceptional athlete and enjoyed years of basketball, golf, hunting, and fishing. He was a matchless storyteller, and loved his family and friends with a steadfast and faithful devotion. Ryan is survived by his parents Paul and Lola Christensen, sister Jennie Quinn (Brendan), sister Suzanne Pearson (Leif), and nephews Ryan and Noah Quinn and Archer Pearson. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, March 11th, 2017, at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church, 7700 Skansie Avenue, Gig Harbor, WA 98335. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Gig Harbor Tides Scholarship Foundation, PO Box 2674, Gig Harbor, WA 98335 c/o Ryan Christensen Memorial Basketball Scholarship.

We are all so saddened by Ryan's passing. He will be missed. He was an all around great guy taken much too early.
