THADEUS FAHERTY

"Tad" Thadeus Charles Faherty Native Son Passes Tad was born January 8, 1948; he grew up in Edgewood, graduating from Bellarmine Prep in 1966. He migrated south to California, pursuing a profession in broadcasting. He finished his travels in Fresno, where he settled into an engineering career which included over twenty years at Valley Public Television. He soon met the love of his life, his wife Ann, with whom he was smitten every day of their life together. He passed away December 1, 2011, too young, too vibrant, but too ill to go on after a valiant fight with cancer. He is met by his dad, "Slim" C.B. Faherty, who predeceased him. Tad's love was huge and included first his two daughters, Tacie (Ron) O'Rourke and Jennifer (Omar) Singh, and also included his grandchildren Nathaniel, Zachary, Omar, Aden, and Isabella. His love was also felt deeply by his mom Bonnie, brother Terry (Colleen), and sisters Shareen (Dave), Teresa (Bob), and Marci. Tad also loved and appreciated Ann's family, his father-in-law Chuck Freuler, mother-in-law Marianna, sister-in-law Susan, and brothers-in-law Bill and Mike. His huge love will also be missed by a large extended family of nieces and nephews, great-and small, many cousins, and a large network of friends. A funeral Mass of Christian committal will be celebrated Friday, December 16, 2011, at 11:00am, at St. Martin of Tours Parish in Fife.
