As a Brother of Tacoma Lodge # 22 I remember him as Treasurer of the Lodge. We had some strong, influential people in the Lodge that made our Lodge one of the best in the State. The visitations to our Lodge by Brethren from throughout Puget Sound along with many Grand Lodge Officers will never be forgotten. Billy was one of those influential people. He was also Treasurer Emeritus of the Lodge. We missed him a lot in the latter years.

With Sympathy to you All,

WB Bruce Gardner,

Past Master Tacoma Lodge # 22

& Noble of AFIFI Shrine

I have fond memories of being drafted to make up a fourth at New Years' Eve bridge parties with the Walters and my parents' friends. Mr. Walter always had an opinion to offer, whether on a bridge hand or politics. He'll be missed. Kay
