Brian Clark Obituary

Kennewick, Wash.

Mueller's Tri-City Funeral Home

Brian John Clark, age 22, passed away on May 29, 2006, in Kennewick. He was born in Everett, Washington, but was raised in Kennewick, Washington. He was a 2002 graduate of Kamiakin High School. He was the son of John and Sherry Clark and the 'big' brother to Ian. Family was important to Brian and he loved every member of his family, his Grandma Mary Wertz and Grandma Nell Olsen (who is waiting in heaven to welcome him), his great-grandpa Maurice Barnett, all his aunt, uncles and cousins. He was a good friend to many and a stranger to few.

Brian Clark was as he called himself, a 'small town celebrity'. He seemed to make it his ambition to befriend everyone he met. If you were Brian's Friend you could count on him to be there for you. Everyday he kept his house and heart full of his friends. Since he first discovered hockey, it was always his passion. He cemented himself in the hearts of other players and parents alike with his personality on and off the ice. He made you laugh and met everyone with a smile. He loved, laughed and lived life to the fullest. He gave everyone a piece of his heart and those that knew him should cherish that which he gave you.

He lived in the Tri-Cities for 14 years, though one of his greatest dreams was to move to California and become rich and famous. His dreams had changed many times during his life. He had wanted to become a professional hockey player, then his dreams turned to becoming an actor. Most recently, his dream was to be a comedian. Brian was always reaching for the stars. He was a shining star. He was a superstar and didn't realize he didn't need to go anywhere; he was one wherever he went. His family and friends will forever miss him and yet we always will have a part of him with is in our daily lives. So we say good-bye to 'Basement Bones' but we know he will always watch over us and we will remember his smile, his laughter and the good times he brought to so many.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of Joy.

I Really enjoyed getting to know Brian through the last couple years of high school. He really did have a way of always putting a smile on everyones face. To the Clark family, my thoughts and prayers go out to you. God Bless

Sure glad that I got a chance to meet Brian in May for Aunt Lou's birthday party. Would have liked to get to know him better. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know it is hard right now but time will make it bearable to move on but not forget.
