March 2, 1937 - November 5, 2024
Richland , Washington - Larry Dean Fuller was born on March 2, 1937. He was the second son to George Lowell Fuller and Pearl Marie Mosher. Larry was a charismatic man with a passion for life. He learned to work hard from his father and held many jobs while growing up in eastern Oregon. Larry graduated from Baker City High School in 1955 and went to Provo, Utah. to attend Brigham Young University, where he met his blue eyed girl, Linda Dickson.
Larry served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Australia South Mission between 1957-59. Returning from his mission he asked Linda to marry him for time and all eternity. They were married in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple Aug. 20, 1959, and together had seven children.
In 1961 Larry and Linda moved to Washington DC to attend George Washington University where he earned his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.
After graduating Larry and Linda moved back to Baker City where he started his life as an Insurance salesman for Farmers Insurance. During this time he was also involved with the Oregon Jaycees, serving as President from 1975-77. He continued in the insurance business, living in different cities in eastern Oregon/Washington.
Larry sold insurance for 53 years working for various companies and also owned his own independent insurance company. In 2012 he retired from the insurance business but it was short lived, as his work ethic inspired him to buy a train car cleaning business. He officially retired in 2018, selling his business to his son, Jon.
Larry loved to garden; especially tomatoes. He enjoyed learning, was interested in history, and especially loved gospel subjects, and was a true blue BYU football and basketball fan. He was a devoted husband and father and loved his family supporting his children and grandchildren in their many activities. Larry was a man of God and served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints in various callings, and was always looking for missionary opportunities.
