AL, you will be greatly missed from every persons life you touched. You were a very special person, had great patience for us younger hard heads at work. I still remember you telling me Jesse stop count to 10, then me getting my cool back, and the countless drives from work while we carpooled, how you drilled me about what i fixed. But most of all I am gonna miss how you helped me when I needed guidance with my daughter, and being able to bring you green chile. Well thanks for the moments we shared, you are truly the best person I have ever met. Love you and god bless.

Alfredo my tocayo, a warm and thoughtful man who always had great things to say about his family. Though I only knew him for a couple of years here at Freeport, he left a lasting impression. My prayers to the Renteria family and my favorite passage:

The LORD bless you and keep you;

The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;

The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.

Dear Maggie and family my prayers are with you all. I am truly sadden to hear about AL. I remember when I first met him, we began car pooling to Casa Grand to attend classes for the operating engineers apprenticeship sometime around 1984. We worked together at Granite Construction Co. for years (great memories I’ll never forget). I’m sure for those who knew him will agree with me, he was a down to earth person.

Maggie~
You always amazed me at the way you spoke of the time you spent together as a family. At first I thought you were "Newlyweds" then when I found out how old your children were I thought what an "amazing family". You were so excited about your vacation this past summer and the "boys hunting". Your face would "light" up when you spoke about your husband and family, it was something beautiful I could see through you. And now there are no words that can even begin to express my sorrow in your loss; you are in my prayers ~ please know that my thoughts are with you and your family and may the peace which you experience from cherished memories comfort you. May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead. Please remember I am here for you if you need to talk, to cry or just a shoulder to lean on to give you strength.
God Bless YOU and your FAMILY.

My heart aches for all the Renteria family and also most personally, Paul. We have been friends for a very long time and I consider you my Brother, so I can imagine what you are going through. God willing, we have quite a few years left together.

Even though I never got to meet Al, I feel like I know him. You would tell me stories of your trips together and the things that you would talk about. You are so very proud of him. I can only wish that you view our friendship the same way because its how I view you, as I have never had a brother until I meet you.

I hope and pray that you your family will lean on Misha and I when needed. My shoulder is here for you to cry on, my ears are hear to listen and my heart is with you as you go through these tough times.

With Love Always,

Reuben Leon

WOW! Al Munday, you're not here anymore. This comes as a real shock! Reuben, and I were always asking each other if we had seen you, or heard from you. Having come into contact with you at the Operator's U, I knew that you were always busy. I just called him with the bad news. Two more sad friends in this world.
Welll GOD has given you your marching orders, and of course you've answered. We'll all get them sooner or later. I just hope you're at the Gates to give me a helping hand up!!! You're in good hands now Al, and all is well.
To the immidiate, and extended Renteria families, my heartfelt condolences on Al's passing. We were friends since Jr High, at Spring, and afterwards. To Margaret, and kids, carry on!! Al's in a good place now, and he will wait for you with HIM by his side.
May God Bless all of you.
