ENLIGHTENMENT-The Bible as a book stands alone. There never was, nor ever will be, another like it. As there is but one sun to enlighten the world naturally, so ther is but one Book to enlighten the world spiritually. May that Book become to each of us the man of our counsel, the guide of our journey, the inspiration of our thought, and our support and comfort in life and in death.
Liz...especially to you, for all you're kindness that you have shared..
"What is the real good?"
I asked in musing mood,
"Order," said the law court;
"Knowledge," said the school;
"Truth," said the wise man;
"Pleasure," said the fool;
"Love," said the maiden;
"Beauty," said the page;
"Freedom," said the dreamer;
"Home," said the sage;
"Fame," said the soldier;
"Equity," the seer.
Spake my heart full sadly
"The answer is not here."
Then within my bosom
Softly this I heard:
"Each heart holds the secret,
Kindness is the word."

My memories of Pastor Bill and family go all the way back to the House of Daniel. I think back to the singing, the joyful noises we all made to the Lord, some of us were noisier than others. I think about the debates that I personally had with Pastor Bill when we did not see eye to eye on a position or belief. He would hear me out though even if we simply agreed to disagree.

The one thing that will always resonate for me is his admonition that he was not the end all, be all, in religion or prophecy. Rather I remember him as simply a humble man that wanted to serve The Lord.

I remember time and again that he would remind us all not to simply take his word or anybody’s word, but rather to check these things out in the bible for ourselves. He would remind us not to exalt him nor ourselves that we are the humble servants of the Lord and cannot accomplish anything of ourselves.

It's been years since I last spoke with Pastor Bill yet I've heard things regarding his ministry through the grapevine. Rather than give heed to rumors as I was not there, I am reminded that the Pillars of the earth are the Lord's and he has set the world upon them (1 Samuel 2:8). Only Pastor Bill and the Lord truly know why he was called home at this time.

I am forever grateful that I had the opportunity to know Pastor Bill and the rest of the Maupin family
And so with sadness I bid you adieu until we are reunited in Heaven.

To Liz, Mike, Gary, Kenny, Gayla and Tami, my heart is with you all, please let me know if there is anything you need.

Bill has been like a father to me for 25 years and has taught me and anyone else who would listen, the Word of God, plain and simple. For our good, he held nothing back. He boldly proclaimed God's plan for Israel in the last days that Israel will have their ancient biblical borders as a sign of Jesus' Second Coming so that the world could be warned—GET SAVED! He gave of himself so that all could hear and believe in God's wonderful plan for their lives--eternal life with Him. He truly was a man of God, with God’s heart. My heart and prayers are for all his family. I know you will miss him so, as I will. Bill loved to sing the song, What A Day That Will Be" when my Jesus I shall see. When I look upon His face; the one who saved me by His grace...and He takes me by the hand and leads me to the Promise Land What a Day Glorious Day that will be. He also said, “When I get up there, don’t bother me for at least a million year because I’ll be ogling the Lord until then. Then maybe I’ll stop and look around to see what else is up there”. He got his wishes! To preach to the world about the coming of His Saviour and to spend all the time he wants with His Lord Jesus (Yeshua) and His Heavenly Father (Yehovah). Keep that light in the window for those of us who might be a little homesick! We will carry on with God’s ministry of reconciliation and telling the Good News of God’s Love to the world. In the name of Jesus. If Bill were here, he would tell us all to STAND on God’s Word and “REJOICE ALWAYS and AGAIN I SAY REJOICE!” Love In Christ, Bobbi Cole and my two precious dogs, Mika and Sadie, who Bill prayed for and saved their lives too.
