My husband and I were introduced to Gerald, and Opus Lingus, in 1985. He crafted several pieces of furniture for us and, through his work and his personality, we have felt a very warm lik to him all these years. His active presence will be very missed. His legacy will always be with you.

Mr. Porter, I have the priveledge of working with your beautiful daughter Valerie. What a wonderful young Lady! I know that saying goodbye to you was the hardest thing she ever had to face. May God Bless your Valerie and the rest of your beautiful family. May their LOVE for one another help them find comfort in each other to help them through this difficult time.

I've know Gerald about four years. In that time we've had many enjoyable conversations and shared lots of laughs.

Gerald, you were such a good person that meant alot to so many people. I know when I needed some history on something or translation on a document I knew who to ask!! Its been awhile since I've heard that laugh and had our conservations about family, work, etc. here in the back area at work . Something that is and will truly be missed!! My sincerest condolences to all of your family.
