Kenneth Ditzer Obituary

DITZER, Kenneth M., 85, of Tucson and Evansville, IN, passed away at 8:57 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. Kenneth was born in Indiana to Jesse C. and Grace D. (Hunter) Ditzer. He attended Eastside Assembly of God Church. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during WWII. He and his first wife, Virginia, had worked as missionaries in Malaysia and the Philippines for many years. He is survived by his wife of three years, Mary (Nicholson) Gibson Ditzer of Evansville, IN; one daughter Linda Nazifi and her husband Dr. Meddie Nazifi and their children, Tyler, Taite, Millica and Kristin of Tucson; one son, Larry Ditzer and his wife Cyndee and their children, Matthew, Ben, Heidi, Heather and Laura of Grafton, ND; two step-sons, Phillip and Gregory Gibson; one brother, Daniel D. Ditzer and his wife Joyce of Evansville, IN; 17 grandchildren; five great-grand-children; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia (Dimmett) Ditzer, a sister, Betty Tyree and three brothers, Fred Ditzer, Richard "Pete" Ditzer and Earl D. Ditzer. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Eastside Assembly of God Church, 1930 S. Wilmot Road with Pastor Peter Kraft officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Palms Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Eastside Assembly of God Church, 1930 S. Wilmot Road, Tucson, AZ 85711. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E Broadway
