Mayme Smith Obituary

Mayme Dees Smith Mom you are loved and will be missed by all. Born September 20, 1919, passed away on August 6, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Leslie and Edna Dees; sisters, Ato Campbell and Gladys Harrell and son, Larry E. Smith. She is survived by son, James L. Smith (Sidney); granddaughters, Renai Hood (Derek), Kamara Smith and Cher Smith; grandson, Brandon Smith (Alisa); great- grandchildren, Shannon and Jessica Hood and Kadon and Jonan Smith and two great-great-grandchildren and many very dear friends. A Celebration of her life will be held at "The Ranch" on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at high noon. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.

Grandma, I miss you terribly! I had no idea, I thought you were in the hospital for just a fall and was extremely disappointed when I found out you had passed. I'm so very sad, as we were on the way to getting to know each other again. This whole thing was a terrible shock to me. I feel so very very sad I was not there for you.
