Norma PIKE Obituary

PIKE, Norma L. (Humphrey) born December 3, 1927, Bloomington, Indiana. Died August 18, 2017, Tucson, Arizona, her husband, Duncan Pike died in 2004. She is survived by her children, Michael Pike (Karen Erickson), Sandra White (Troy); her grandchildren, Meredyn Shapiro (Joshua), Rowan Pike and her great- granddaughter, Tabitha Shapiro. Norma lived her final year of life at Villa Hermosa in Tucson. She had a full and active life, shared by family and many friends, good and true. She was active in the social life at Villa Hermosa and at her church Christ Presbyterian. Before retiring, she worked for San Jose Unified School District in California. She enjoyed taking different classes, studied music, Art and tap dancing. She would pass many an hour reconstructing picture puzzles from around the world. Norma loved telling stories about her life and adventures. We ask that in lieu of flowers, you make a donation to the American Heart Association. A Celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Villa Hermosa, located at 6300 E. Speedway Blvd., Tucson, Arizona 85710. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
