Patrice "Patty" WILSON

WILSON, Patrice "Patty" passed peacefully in the arms of unconditional sisterly love on August 25, 2017, after a six-year courageous battle with insidious cancer. A 4th generation southeastern Arizonan, Patty lived an enthusiastically nomadic and adventurous life, one that always led her back to her southern Arizona roots. As a physical therapy assistant, her passion was helping people become mobile again, which skills she used during the last year of her life to help many beloved animals at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah.  She is survived by her father, Arthur Gene Wilson (Enedina, deceased); mother, Barbara Jacob (Richard); siblings, Lori Angus Wilson (Jay), Mary Paynter (Duane), Monica Wright (Gary), Richard Wilson (Kelly), Frankie Wilson (Maribel), Lisa Jacob, and Anna May Linn (Herb); nephew, Victor Rodriguez (Erin) and numerous other much loved nieces, nephews and other relatives too numerous to list. She has so many friends in Tucson, Benson, Kingman, Kanab, California, Colorado and well beyond—she never went anywhere without making a new best friend. Her zest for life was infectious, her sense of humor beyond compare, and her smile could light up any room.  A Celebration of our beautiful Patty's life will be held at a later date, which will be announced to family and friends on Facebook.
