Patricia Wilson Obituary

Patricia Denny Wilson 80, of Tucson passed away in the early morning hours on April 10, 2007, after and eight year battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Gallup, New Mexico and was a graduate of the Univ. of New Mexico. She is survived by her three sons, David Wilson of Denver, CO, Richard Wilson of Boise, ID and Douglas Wilson of Vancouver, WA and six grandchildren, Lindsay, Ashley, Aaron, Robin, Marceline and Doug Jr. She was married for 36 years to Asa C. Wilson, an aerospace engineer. She was a Docent at the Phoenix Art Museum in the late 60's and early 70's. She was active in the Episcopal Church in Phoenix and Greensberg, PA, where she gave lectures. She traveled to Beijing, China with the Greater Anglican Network to attend the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women and afterwards, wrote a chapter in a book about that experience, entitled "To Beijing and Beyond" published by the University of Pittsburgh Press in 1998. She was an avid outdoors lover, who attended many Indian dances and ceremonies, loved hiking, fishing and camping and loved the Arizona desert. She was always close to God, worshiping at Christ the King Church and is now with the Angels in peace where she can now continue her good work and spread her love.
