Richard Vasquez Obituary

Richard F. Vasquez 72, passed away July 11, 2015. Preceded in death by his parents, Randolph H. Vasquez and Guadalupe Vasquez; brothers, Louis and Rudy; brothers-in-law, Julian Leon, Frank Gallardo and Oscar Baca. Survived by his wife, Jeanette; sons, Michael, Christopher (Stephanie) and Robert; sisters, Adelina, Alicia and Laura; brother, Robert "Bob" (Edie). Also survived by five grandchildren, Ryan, Tanner, Aaliyah, Brianna and Mason. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 16, 2015, 10:30 a.m. with a Rosary recited at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 601 E. Ft. Lowell Rd. Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Hope Cemetery. Richard passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a long bout with cancer. His career spanned over a 50 year period in building and development alongside his identical twin brother, Bob. He was very proud to have his sons, grandsons and many nephews involved in the family business. He loved being with family. Hobbies included golfing, Arizona athletics and traveling to San Diego. Sundays he devoted himself to his Catholic church and his Sunday drives. He was loved and will be missed by many. Family and friends may express their condolences at www.carrillostucsonmortuary.com
