Bob was a great mentor to me and my company since 2012. I met him first time after his lecture at Leeds Business School, when I was fresh from completing an MRes in Service Science in Education and at early days of my startup. Bob guided and shaped my thinking towards in taking critical business decisions about the growth of my company and mobile app World Around Me. I had a privilege to meet Bob over a meal at his home in April 2016. Whilst having conversations about Service Science, Education innovations and World Around Me over a delicious avocado soup, I have fond memories of my last interactions with Bob after which he gave me an autographed book about Service Dominant Logic. I pray that his soul rests in peace. I am sure Bob is looking down from heaven to us all and still guiding us through his legacy.

I knew Bob since 1972 when he was finishing up his Master's program at the University of Arizona and I was in my first year as a doctoral student. We have been friends for more than 40 years. He was an amazing scholar and all-around good person. He would always take time to help friends and colleagues. His professional accomplishments were significant and his legacy to the marketing discipline will be ongoing through his articles, books and presentations. Bob will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to his family during their time of loss.
