Mary Sanford Obituary

FAYETTE Mary Elizabeth Sanford, age 91, of Fayette, died Dec. 23, 2011, at Fayette Long Term Care. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Nelson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Cash officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with Nelson Funeral Home of Fayette directing. Visitation will be Monday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan "Josh" Sanford; and her son, Bobby Joe Sanford.

Survivors include her son, Doug Sanford (Dot) of Fayette; sisters, Virginia Lowery of Fayette and Sarah Jackson of Centreville; grandchildren, Bobbie Ann Sanford Rodriguez and Shane, Josh, and Brandon Sanford; and great-grandchildren, Sanford, Michaelann, Lydia, and Isaac Rodriguez, and Carter, Cooper, Addison, Isaiah, Tucker, Chanler Beth, and Emaline Sanford.

She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Shane Sanford, Josh Sanford, Brandon Sanford, Mike Rodriguez, Sanford Rodriguez, and Isaac Rodriguez.
