Gordon ANDERSON Obituary

Age 78 of Forest Lake Formerly of St. Paul's East Side Passed peacefully surrounded by love on January 26 from multiple health issues. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 57 years Patricia; son Matthew (Mary) and soon-to-be grandson of Forest Lake; daughter Jennifer (Brian) Giguere of Spokane, WA; and his beloved Brittany spaniel, Woody. Also survived by sister-in-law Karen (John) Flood, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by parents Sheldon and Agnes Anderson, brother Sheldon, sister-in-law Carol, brother-in-law Jim Hunt and sister-in-law Susan Hunt. Gordy graduated from St. Paul Johnson Class of '61 and was a proud UA Local 455 Pipefitter. He loved (sometimes hated) the game of golf until health issues kept him off the links. A member of Elim Lutheran Church in Scandia, Osman Shrine Provost Unit, Montgomery Lodge, and Scottish Rite. A Celebration of Life will be held in Spring when all can hopefully gather comfortably. Memorials preferred to Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail N., Scandia 55073 or donor's choice.
