Joey is,not was,one of a kind, indeed! We worked as well,as played hard,together. Hunting and Fishing, was always a part of most every conversation.
I am Proud of my involvement with Joe and his family, thru my marriage to his sister, Anita.We both have many fond thoughts that will remain with us forever.The Good Times are what we want to be,and, Always will be,fondly remembered!

Jeanette, Gary, Ricky, Lynn, and Scot - I am really sorry for your loss. He will be missed. I will always remember him for making people laugh (and for trying to get a rise out of them!)

Thinking of your family at this tough time. We have LOVED hearing Gary's stories of his excellent (and sometimes unbelievable!) adventures with Joe over the years. Dad,
I can't express in words how wonderful of a Father you were. And Gretchen and I couldn't have asked for a better Grandfather for Amanda. You were always so proud and aglow with Amanda's achievments. Dad, we traveled the world together with so many special friends and family. And the great times we had, fishing and hunting together. You had the best shore lunches in Canada and always made sure everyone ate Walleyes till they couldn't move! You always had a knack for putting Amanda and the kids on big fish, but would end up tangling your own line in the motor! I will always be so proud to have had you as a father, best friend, and business partner.

Joe - you will be missed by many. You always had a good time, and brought smiles to the faces of those around you.
A few memories:
I'll never forget the backyard wrasslin' matches between you, Gary and Doug! I'm pretty sure you always beat them.
Or the time you had to swerve and jump the curb to avoid someone in your lane, and you had about 10 pies from Poppin Fresh (old school!) in your truck. The pies ended up all over the truck. I can imagine you trying to clean up some of the mess by eating it...I know I would have!
Janette will always remember when you and Jeanette let us stay at the cabin and took us snowmobiling. We had a lot of fun.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jeanette, Gary, Rick, Scott and Lynn and their families during this time. We love all of you.

Uncle Joe-
It was an honor to have you as my Uncle and friend. I have some of my best memories with you growing up and later in life. We had many laughs together and I will miss not having another. You were truly one of a kind. I will miss you as a nephew and a friend.

Joe from the day that I married your son, I have always told him that we are blessed to have two sets of wonderful and loving parents. Not every married couple has that. I consider you my second father. You have always been a loving and caring father in law. I will miss you deeply. My heart aches. Now you are at peace and we will never forget the strong, sensitive and father you were.

I'm so sad that Joe is no longer with us. He was one of a kind, a friend for 35 years, and I will miss him greatly. I worked on many a steel project with him - and several of the "it can't be done" variety - which were always successfully completed. Joe loved that kind of challenge and he inspired others to jump on for the ride - and what a ride it was!!! Many great memories for sure.
My thoughts and prayers go out to family and friends who care so much for this guy, as I do.

I will certainly miss the talks I would have with Joe on his visits back to Weyerhaeuser. It was always one of the bright spots when I would return to my home town. You just never knew where you were going to run into him God bless all of you.
