Dearest Millie: As I travel the world, someone always comments on my sense of style. Little do they know that I owe it all to you, who taught me so much at Frank Murphy during my college years as a summer salesgirl. I'll continue to make sure your fashion spirit soars, whether on the plains of the Serengeti or the snow fields of the Himalayas. All my love, Polly.

To each of Millie's wonderful friends: It has been a true gift to see how much she loved each of you and how much you all loved her. She was my own personal movie star!!! We will all miss her more than words can say.

Dear Friends-I will remember Aunt Millie with fondness. The memories of her "dirt" birthday cake, lettuce gathering and many other fun stories are wonderful memories I hold close. I miss you all and hope you are well and happy! Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time! love, jan

Thank you, Jan, for calling me. I will miss the notes in Mildred's beautiful handwriting! I will miss sharing our family genealogy with her. My sympathy, and that of my family, goes out to all of you. Sincerely, Betty (King)Barker

To the family and other dear friends of Mille, I can only say the world has lost a true spirit. We shared many wonderful times together and the events always ended by us hugging goodby. I got my final hug the day before Easter where a group of us shared lots of laughs and good stories. I will always remember her in that way.
