Thomas SOLLER Obituary

Tom passed away in late April of 2021 at the age of 72. He was born and raised in Bayport, MN and raised his own family very nearby. Tom was an industrial tech teacher at Harding High School, Oakland Junior High, Stillwater Junior High and Stillwater High School before pursuing his masters in elementary education. Tom continued his teaching as an elementary school teacher at Oak Park Elementary for the remainder of his career. Tom was known to help just about anyone that needed him with a project, a meal, or advice. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund & Marion Soller (Mordick) and Brother-in-Law Darrel Newell. He is survived by his former wife Beth, his 2 children Chris (Carla Jarvi) and Katie (Andrew Swanson), his 2 loving sisters along with their families Linda Newell and Virginia "Ginny" (Dan) Peulen, and his pride and joy, his 4 grandkids that were the light in his eye, the skip in his step, and the love in his heart up until his very last breath. We know he is watching and guiding them every day from his garden in Heaven and reminding them to "Always do your best". Service to be held May 28th, 2021 at Bethlehem Lutheran in Bayport, MN. 10am visitation, 11am service, private family burial, with lunch to follow at Lakeside Park in Bayport, MN. Family just asks that you bring a memory to share of Tom, because the stories are what is easing the pain of the very large hole he left behind.
