Bonnie Oakley Obituary

Bonnie Lee Oakley (Moir), 68, of Ukiah lost her fight to cancer on Wed August 26, 2015 surrounded by family. She was born in Regina, Saskatchewan Canada on December 12, 1946 but moved to California when she was the age of 4. She met the love of her life, Keith Oakley, at Ukiah High but didn't start dating until after they graduated. They dated for 6 weeks before he proposed and were married 3 months later. They have been together ever since. She worked at the Palace Beauty Salon for 24 years and retired to watch her grandchildren. Most of her time was spent with family or making new decorations for their well known and loved Christmas Lights which covered every part of their property in Calpella. Bonnie was the most loving and giving person to all she knew. She is survived by her husband of almost 49 years Keith Oakley and loving sister Sandra Cordell. Her daughters Jannette Lozano (Frank) and Marti Quan (Phay). Her grandchildren Brian Lozano (Natasha), Krystina Tollini (Casey), Gabe Lozano, Josie Quan, Raven Quan and Ian Quan. Her great grandchildren Krystina & Kadmus Lozano and Lucia & Cooper Tollini and eight nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by her parents. A Celebration of life will be held at noon, Monday August 31st at the Redwood Valley Community Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Phoenix Hospice or UCSF.
