Marc Daniels Obituary

Fifth generation Mendocino County logger Marc Warren Daniels found eternal peace on 10/26/08. His big, loving heart just gave out in Trinity County.

Marc was born in Fort Bragg, CA on Thanksgiving in 1964. He began and ended his life on this earth as a good-natured soul who loved nothing more than being in the woods or near a fishing stream. He made friends from Annapolis to Elk to Montana to Alaska. He loved to laugh and bring you an abalone.

Marc was preceded in death by his grandparents Warren and Anne Daniels of Elk and good friends Hank Worthington and Lars Liljeberg of Elk. Marc is survived by his mother Joan Daniels of Willits, sister Shawn Jaramillo of Clearlake Oaks; uncle Richard Daniels and wife Joan of Ukiah, uncles Percy and Don Daniels of Boonville and Ukiah; nephews Steve and Keith Daniels of Ukiah and Warren Daniels of Boonville; Edan and Lissa Cassidy of Santa Cruz and multiple friends and lady loves. His adoring labs, Sierra and April, are waiting for him to go hunting.

There will be no formal memorial service but Marc's friends are planning a celebration of his life in the near future. Donations may be made in Marc's name to Ducks Unlimited, C/O P.O. Box 428, Willits, CA 95490 or the logging restoration group Roots of Motive Power at 400 East Commercial Street, Willits.
