Andre Harrington Obituary

Andre "Andy" Harrington, 79, of Manchester died January 10, 2021 after a short illness.

Born in Manchester on January 14, 1941, he was the son of Edmund and Rose (Delima) Harrington. He graduated from St. Marie High School.

After graduation, he served in the US Army, stationed in France.

Prior to retirement, he had been employed in quality control for General Electric for many years. He also had worked for Hannaford Supermarket part time.

Andy enjoyed country line dancing with his wife and was a skilled woodworker, creating furniture and cribbage boards. He loved playing cards and was an avid Red Sox fan.

He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Lucille C. (Fournier) Harrington

in 2017. He was also predeceased by siblings, Terry Labarre in 2010 and Edmond

Harrington in 1982.

Family members include his son, Doug Harrington and girlfriend Kimberly Portillo of Manchester; his daughter, JoAnne Laughner and husband Daniel of Northfield; grandchildren, Connor, Brayden, Kayla and Jessica; nephews, nieces and cousins.

Calling hours with masks and social distancing required at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm. Due to the pandemic, funeral services will be private at family's convenience. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Donations may be made in his memory to the New England Heart Institute, 100 McGregor St, Manchester, NH 03102.
