Arthur William Bishop, 65 passed away on November 3, 2023 at the Jack Byrne Hospice Facility in Lebanon, NH. after a long illness.

After a short time at the University of New Hampshire he enlisted in the United States Army where he was selected to serve in the White House Communications Agency where he did two tours of duty. He is predeceased by his parents, his sister Martha Drociak and his wives Patti (Trovato) Bishop and Patricia (Trainor) Bishop.

Art had a very interesting life traveling the world setting up communications for several U.S. Presidents and other high ranking government officials. He was a 9-11 survivor, he had been working at the World Trade Center on that fateful day. He was a fun loving multi talented man. He loved skiing and horseback riding and spent hours working on his antique model "T" and model "A' cars. He was always the life of the party hosting Friday night poker nights at his home in Elkins. He will be very much missed by his many friends and relatives.

SERVICES: There will be no services at this time. A gathering to remember and celebrate his life will be held in the spring sometime near his birthday. Stay tuned. To view Art's Online Tribute, send condolences to the family, or for more information, visit www.csnh.com.

I was fortunate to have spent some time with Arthur at our recent high
school reunion.
We reminisced about the good old days in grammar school and high school. It was like old times. He was truly a remarkable American that served and loved his country. He was also proud of his family. He was a good friend and I will miss him. My condolences to his family. May the memories comfort you and may peace be with you.

Art and I were friends through his early Ford interest. It was sad to watch the deterioration of his sight, which cost him so much. He bore it well. One of those it was a pleasure knowing. As he would say,"Just think of Archbishop."

To the family of Art, I was a co-worker of his at the Secret Service and am so sorry for your loss. Art always had a smile on his face and was a true perfectionist when it came to his work. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathies

I was a coworker with Art in the US Secret Service for many years and heard of his recent passing through a group email that many of our colleagues use to stay in touch. Art was a terrific coworker, friendly and congenial but seriously hard-working when he had tasks to perform. He will always be remembered as a dependable and capable teammate by all of us who had the pleasure of working with him!
