Funeral services will be held following visiting hours at 3 p.m. at Monadnock Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Charles's name to Home Health Care Hospice, P.O. Box 496, Peterborough, 03458 or Monadnock Congregational Church 120 Wilton Road, Peterborough, 03458 or Peterborough Ambulance Service, 16 Summer St., Peterborough, 03458.

Pat and Don,
Charlie was a wonderful neighbor. Ruth and I remember when he welcomed us to the neighborhood when we moved to Burke Road in 1996. And his generosity in sharing vegetables from his garden -- and moose meat from his successful hunting trips -- will never be forgotten. He was a wonderful man.

To Pat and family I am sorry for your loss of Charles. I feel very fortunate to have been able to spend so many quality visits with Charles and Pat these past several months. We were able to share a lot of laughs as well as wonderful memories of many family events. One of the memories that will always be with me was his quick wit and typical funny New England comments about just about anything. He touched my life in a very positive way and he will be missed. My thoughts are with you all.
