George Kinner Obituary

Age 91, of Casa Grande, AZ went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 16, 2018. He was born in Northampton, Massachusetts the third of three boys born to Stephen A. and Genevieve L. (Mercereau) Kinner. He is preceded in death by his brother Stephen; his second wife, Phyllis (Wood); son Dale; and dear friend Barbara Burke. He is survived by his brother, Richard; sons Lynn, David, Jan, Brian, and Thomas; daughter Shirley; and 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

George was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and worked for NCR for 37 years. Upon his retirement he and Phyllis spent 15 years traveling throughout North America, later settling Arizona. George shared many outdoor adventures with his dear friend, Barbara, including hiking, rafting, bicycling, and walking with fellowship in spirit with the Lord. George was a kind person with a winning smile. His door was always open to minister to, inspire, and impact all those he met.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at the New Boston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, families and friends are encouraged to do something every day that makes themselves and others smile.

He was never one to sit still - willing to go and do new things and meet new people up to the day he went to see God. He is and will continued to be missed.
