John "Duke" Winslow

John "Duke" Winslow, 79 of New Boston, NH, went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones at home. John was born at Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC to John Herrick Winslow and Jeweline Inez Roye, the first of 14 children. John grew up in Weare, NH, but later made his home in New Boston.

All who had the honor of knowing Duke were truly blessed. He was an icon and a true craftsman at his trades, as the owner and operator of Duke's. He serviced the town of New Boston and surrounding towns as sole provider of towing and recovery, then designed and fabricated towing equipment as owner of Tow Tech. Years later he used his talents and creativity in the excavation business, while spreading the love of God.

Duke is survived by his wife, Mona of 59 years, his four children; Robert Winslow, wife Blanche, Eric Winslow, wife Jennifer, Rebecca Philbrick, husband Jeremy, Charity Hews, husband Andrew, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren,10 siblings, hundreds of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Friday August 18th at the French and Rising Funeral Home 17 S. Mast Street Goffstown, NH 03045 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
